Excellent glass for the money

This is a stunning piece of glass for the money, suits the heavier DSLR bodies due to its weight. There is no comparison in the clarity of the images between this and the kit 70-300, images are crisp and the VR system works a treat, enabling you to handhold at 300mm.

Spend extra on one that works

The 45' cutter is useless, the blade moves about in the handset and cuts a very dogleg line. the ruler is useful though.
