Arbortech - very expensive and very delicate
1 of 1 found this helpful I watched the YouTube clips and was amazed at the versatility of this tool so took the plunge and bought one for my house renervation. Removal of motor for pointing and brick removal is great. But forget everything else as the blades are very easy to damage and very very expensive. At first I put it down to not being used to the tool but after purchasing a second set of blades and chipping the teeth again I can only conclude this tool is limited to removing soft mortar. Just to clarify I look after my tools and they last but not in the case of this.
You may see lots of positive reviews about the arbortech as170 but did you know sending them a testimonial about how great the tool is gets you a free set of blades which is worth about £80. On principle I have not done this and is also worth boring their customer services are terrible.
