Almost excellent but...

I was very pleased with this steam mop until I tried it on velvet sofa upholstery and ended up with rows of vertical lines where I'd put a little pressure on it to remove a stain. Unfortunately, I hadn't realised that the steam is forced out of several small holes in a row, and it'd burned the fabric off as they travelled. Result: a permanently scarred expensive sofa. The steamer instructions don't mention upholstery but neither do they give a warning about fabric cleaning. I wish they had mentioned it, because reviews of other, similar products speak highly of cleaning furniture.

Excellent back-up fridge freeze - delighted.

Delighted with this fridge/freezer. It's well-built, quiet, works perfectly (always a good start!) and is very capacious. That said, changing the door hinges to open the other way was a faff and the instructions were rubbish, but we worked it our eventually. For us, the fridge is for storing chilled drinks bottles and cans in summer, and large desserts etc when entertaining. And there's a surprisingly large freezer for ice cream supplies! It stands on top of a worktop in our utility room, and looks great.
