It's a necessary evil - if you have these Topeak Defender M1 mudguards on the front wheel, then from time to time they are going to break. The rigourous nature of off-road cycling means that mudguards get bashed and bent and they vibrate.
Sadly the weakest part of this mudguard set is the Fork Attachment Replacement kit. The mudguards are good and flexible, but they exert force on this mounting bracket. The plastic part of the bracket snaps, whilst the metal part stays intact.
This is the third time in 3 years for me.
With the whole front and back kit only costing typically between £10 and £20, it's really annoying to have an annual 'running cost' of £8.95 for my front mudguard.
Can't blame the retailers for this - it's a design failing.

Does what is says on the tin, but....
It's not so obvious that this pedal is battery powered. All the similar looking pedals in the range are passive and require no power.
Being DC powered would not be such an issue if there was a DC inlet socket, but there's not.
This is has got to be the only foot-pedal I have with no DC inlet socket.
