D7200 - an excellent all rounder
2 of 2 found this helpful As a general photographic tool, the D7200 is great and very intuitive to use (particularly if you're already a Nikon user). Image quality is up with the best and processing speed is of a similar standard. I sometimes wish the auto-focus didn't have so many options - IMHO, the trick is to find a mode which works for you on a day-to-day basis, knowing that if you get a situation where your requirements are different, there is an autofocus mode to deal with it. In most situations it's fast, easy to use and gives great images.
My D7200 was bought 2nd hand, is about 5 years old and looks, handles and feels like new. I can see myself hanging onto it for a long time to come.

The pedal works and was in good condition, but if you're using it to control something subtle (which I am) a little bit of mechanical feedback through the pedal is essential and on this pedal there is absolutely none! It gives you no idea of whether it is on or off.

Hi quality bbq tools
The only design aspect which all of this set is lacking, is longer handles. For cooking comfortably over hot coals, you really want to keep your hands a few inches further away. However, the quality of the set is excellent and the bag to keep the tools in is a nice touch.
