Surprisingly good effort from the veteran rockers.
First album in 19 years for the Oyster Boys and what a corker it is too! Although only Eric and Buck remain from the early classic line-up, The Symbol Remains packs a mighty powerful punch from two guys now in their early to mid 70s, ably assisted by the three who've been part of the current BOC for quite a few years now. Richie, in particular, plays a stellar part, both in writing some of the songs as well as some lead vocals. 14 tracks in total though if truth be told, a couple are filler material that actually would've been better left off the final cut. Long time BOC fans will find lots to be happy with here, though as always, the Bouchard brothers plus of course the late Allen Lanier, are sadly missed. 4.5 stars.

Brilliant value, no contract SIM deal for light users.

No longer promoted by O2 but still valid if activated/topped up (min £10) before April next year. 3p per min for calls (landline and any other mobile company), 2p per text and 1p per mb of data. No contract - just be sure to make at least one call/text every six months. What's not to like?
