Typical Takom quality for a unique AFV subject.
This is only a box review, but this model looks as if it will go together easily. That is if you like assembling individual track links, and track pads.
First off, I believe this is a more or less a prototype SPAAG, based off of the Chieftain, that really never went into full production. It had an expensive price tag, and being that the Cold War was finished when this became a reality many potential customers were no longer interested.
Back to the model. It is molded in light gray, with clear parts and a larger size sheet of photo etch. There is no flash a few release marks or lines. A decal sheet is included of what this vehicle might of been if it reached British service. Being it is based off of the British MBT Chieftain, it shares a lot of parts with the other Chieftain kits Takom also produces.
A fairly expensive model at $38.50, I shopped for the lowest price, but worth it.

Decent part.
Fits right where the old one went. Appears to be of good quality. It costs a lot less than the factory replecement part.

Ancient, cheap kit good for only the beginner.
What can I say? It is an old quirky french kit. Buy a modern one if you like precision, fit and ease of build.
