A useful piece of kit
1 of 1 found this helpful While this Leki adapter for the Aergon trekking pole will only viably take the weight of a small camera, coupled with a lightweight clamp, such as the Joby GripTight ONE mount, it works well as a monopod.
It does of course rely on the ground being firm enough to keep the pole planted in the ground and stable while taking photographs. Equally, composing a shot does require a bit of manoeuvring of the pole, which can then loosen the ground placement. This can be resolved by adding a miniature ‘ball head’ allowing full adjustment of the camera or smartphone, and also allowing the Leki pole to be used as a selfie stick.
The screw thread on the adapter is only plastic so care needs to be taken when attaching to avoid cross-threading or over tightening.
All in all though, a very useful device.

Very good material
Used this to make a waterproof 'stuff sack' for our VW camper awning. Good material to work with and sew, and it took the iron on waterproofing tape very well.
