The original and best
1 of 1 found this helpful This Honeywell valve head is the later version with the dimple which indicates the top can be changed without a drain-down. I could have changed the whole valve for a cheaper make but these honeywells can last 10years or more and this was brand new and cheaper than anywhere I could find it .

Very durable, thick rubber won’t rip
I fit these when there’s complications like a stuck cv joint. You must clean everything with solvent and I wrap clingfilm around the shaft and joint . No grease. Heat the gaiter and stretch it as much as possible. It’s very thick rubber, you can’t tear it, if the small end is too small for the shaft then cut that off first. Glue half inch. Hold 1 minute, work your way along the groove holding for 30secs each . I give them 10 more minutes then get it over the joint , if it’s too big get the correct size bedded . Fit the clamp and then trim the excess big end off. They pass the mot and seem to last well. Use hot air gun on a frosty day .
