It's tough but it's NOT rubber!
This is a good solid cable-end twin 13A socket suitable for creating an extension lead for most tasks - including tough work. It is very solid and IMHO unlikely to break even given a fair amount of abuse - like being dropped or thrown around. Good value too. However, don't be misled by the description - it is NOT made of rubber - it's a much harder material although it doesn't seem brittle. Reference to the manufacturer's website claims it's made of 'rugged hardwearing industrial grade plastic'.
That implies that, although the item itself is likely to survive harsh treatment, it is also more likely to damage items it impacts than a rubber version. As a result, it may be less suitable for applications where the need is for a 'soft' end to your extension lead - such as when working in furnished rooms or in close proximity to glass or similar breakable material,

Item as described. Works perfectly straight out of the box. Dispatched very quickly. Took a while to arrive but that was Roysl Mail’s failure. Excellent value. Top E-Bayer. Will happily buy again.
