Abysmal Battery Life.... And It Ends There
Let's get one thing straight - nothing about this product is good. Certain things are OK or passable, but all that is overshadowed by an absolutely Abysmal Battery Life.
It is tough to imagine that in 2016 a device can have such poor battery life, but perhaps that is why they don't brag about it in the listing or on the packaging.
I only get a few days of usage on a charge, and that is with mere 15-20 minutes of on time per day! That is unacceptable.
To further exacerbate the issue, the USB charging takes forever. In fact, even after 12+ hours connected to the USB 3.0 port on my laptop, the indicator was still showing "charging". In fact, I have never had his bulb fully charged!
Another significant issue is tactility. The bulb turns on with a light tap, in theory.... In practice, I often have to tap it twice, or tap harder to get it to react. At times I tap the table on which it sits and it turns on - it is that unpredictable.
The cradle in which the sphere is placed is shallow and wobbly, making me feel nervous that the sphere may simply roll out of it if tapped too hard or if nudged accidentally.
If the price of this lightsphere was in the region of £5-10, all the above flaws would have been at least understandable, if not forgivable. But for £30 this product feels like a prototype or a failed experiment, and feel like its Beta Tester.
There is a lot to be refined in this design - the company making these still has a long way to go before reaching the level of quality that is at least acceptable.
This is not a good product, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Simple and Functional, Good Build Quality, Great Value for Money compared to a real macro lens
Simple and to the point - these Extension Tubes do the trick without costing too much.
The build quality is good and they are quite light. You can use them individually, or together for Extreme Close Ups.
NOTE: you have to be VERY VERY close to the subject for Auto Focus to work. Basically, as soon as you put these on, you lose the ability to focus to infinity, and can only focus on very close objects.
With that in mind, Auto Focusing works on both Full Frame and APSC Sony cameras. I have tried it with my a6000 and a7rIII.

Compact & Light - Yes. Stable - No
Looking for a compact and light travel tripod, I came across Velbon Summit VTP-787.
After only one time using it outdoors I have realised just how severely its lightweight impacts the stability of the tripod.
When fully extended, the tripod is rickety, wobble, unsafe to use with even a small mirrorless camera like Sony a6000.
Indoors, the instability is less noticeable, but outside with even soft wind, the tripod suffers from shake. Forget about using it in strong wind - it will simply fall over or produce severe camera shake.
When the tripod is folded, it is in fact stable, but relatively short off the ground.
Another issue I encountered is the legs, which are sometimes tricky to fold back in. The tripod uses a twist and push mechanism for folding, which isn't very reliable, and I can see it wearing in the future with clear certainty.
The positives of this tripod is its compact folded size and lightweight, as well as the easy screw for your camera and release knob for rotating and panning the head.
Do not expect the stability of a full-sized tripod when buying the Velbon Summit VTP-787, or you will be sorely disappointed.
