Gorilla LP 50 12" Vinyl Record Storage Box Case (Black) with FREE Cleaning Cloth
20 Nov, 2020
. Great.
Just wish it held 10 more albums. 60 not 50. Otherwise it's quite neat. With a lock and 2 keys. And a dust cloth to wipe your vinyls. Its the first modern one I've bought. I have two other old pvc ones from the 70s which are a bit clumsy and don't hold as much. Recommended.
Sid Vicious: No One is Innocent by Alan Parker - Hardback - Used - VG Condition
25 Jan, 2020
I enjoyed it but there's s two sides to every story
Alan Parker gets slagged for being a Sid fan boy. And slags Rotten off for not financially helping Sid during his court case when Rotten had already had an advance for his first album with PiL. I actually wrote to Alan Parker and explained to him that Rotten was actually skint. He had started legal proceedings against Malcolm Mclaren for loss of earnings which cost money. Etc. While The advance PiL got for their first album was squandered halfway through making the album. They had to finish the album in a cheap studios in London. That's why PlL'S first album was not released in the USA for about 30 years. Cos of the loss in sound quality found on some tracks compared to others. They were told to re record the album but they did Metal Box instead. Rotten could do nothing for Sid. He'd tried his best but lost cos of Nancy. Then Rotten had to deal with his mother dying of cancer the same year. It was a tough year for John Lydon in 1978-79. McLaren stole their money and blew it on his Rock'n til Swindle movie. Alan Parker didn't agree with me me. Oh well. Enjoy my the book. Sid could have been in PIL if it wasn't for Nancy and smack. Enjoy m8 👍
