Easy Read of life lessons
Although originally used in America for marketing, this book is a must read for examining how you think on some matters. A very easy read ( shouldn't take more than 45mins) but leaves lessons for life.

Captivating if you can read it in the context of the time it was written
Heard this mentioned so many times, saw it advertised, needed some reading material so thought, yeah, give it a go. So what did I think? This is the only Oscar Wilde material I have ever read. I knew that he had been a poet but for some reason I never expected such mastery with language in prose. Think of the detail used by Tolkein but put into so very few words, paitning a whole scene with a short sentence. His treatment/exploration of parts of the human psyche is captivating. Would I read it again? Definately and in tend to do so. I feel that I would get more out of this book with a second read but need to give it some time first. What did I learn personally from this book? The power of vanity, temptation and how beguiling the dark side of humankind is but what devastation it leaves behind with barely a second glance. They say that wisdom comes from making mistakes. The story here is that 'free' living does have consequences that must be paid for, despite how it may seem at the time. Difficult to say much more without giving away the plot. Read it, hope, like me, you take something away from the experience.
