Initial Opinion
I have only used the CaddyTrek R2 twice now and it has performed as expected. The remote control is easy to use and the remote control mode works well. The follow mode is my favorite mode. It can lose connection on a severe side hill when gravity causes the cart to turn down away from me but otherwise has followed me faithfully. After 18 holes on a course with some big hills, the battery indicator shows two lights available out three. The marching mode works but is somewhat awkward as you have to step right to make it go left and step left to make it go right. My stand bag won't stay square on the cart without turning because of the stand mechanism on the bag. Once I turned the bag sideways, it remains stable. It has a low profile preventing it from crossing the curbs around the cart paths on my course but otherwise will go where I want to go. The cart folds easily and compactly into a small footprint.
