Have enjoyed the entire series so far.
Season two opens the door to new relationships and presents questions of heritage. Looking at the family trees is most confusing. I'm sure the future seasons will give hints to even more complicated relationships. Martin's writing is superiorly mazelike.

The Giver; an engaging film that gives insight into the posibilities for mistakes in our future.
A systematic view of a utopian society that fails in normal human emotional behaviors. It shows how over regulation of life requirements by a handful of government leaders can overreach the levels of humanity in favor of homeostasis. Only the "Giver" of memories to a specially selected youth can hope for regeneration of normalcy in human life.
The cast is well balanced and work well together to illuminate the failures of a utopian society. Scenery is well thought out, and also demonstrates what is missing in this future world. The script is well written and deserves praise for not overly pressing its message. The original book reading by the Bridges family in the special extras is well done, as it was primarily written for children.
