Bent and pretty useless!
The idea behind these calipers is good allowing thickness measurements to 1 mm to be made and shown on a scale.
The problem with the design is the plastic material they are made from. The set I had delivered were bent out of plane on one arm preventing the tips of the calipers from meeting by some mm.
Believing there was some good in the product I attempted to straighten out the plastic with a little extended physical force over a period of some hours. The caliper distortion remained making me think then that they were malformed in manufacture, rather than bent during delivery! Not much use to me. I should have paid 5 to 10 times more for a proper set!
