Colourful and durable building bricks with endless possibilities for creative play.
Duplo bricks allow your child's imagination to develop and flourish.
Being lego, there are no problems regarding durabilty, this is a toy that will last years, they will still be as good in 20 year's time as they are now.
The only problem is that as with all quality products, Lego can be expensive to buy, however if you manage to find the Lego kit you want on ebay, you can be assured of a quality product at a bargain price.

A great 2nd-hand buy at around £50.
Bought an IXUS 105 secondhand (from Gumtree). Camera offers 12Mpx, a 2.7" LCD screen, face detection & face self-timer, a Digic 4 processor and VGA movies at 640 x 480 at 30fps (not HD - although the virtually identical Ixus 120 does have 720p HD). It has a 4x optical zoom (from 28mm - 112mm) AND Image Stabilisation - for some reason Canon have dropped the 'IS' label from the name (?!)
LCD is lovely and clear, start-up time is quick, focusing accurate and speedy and pictures very clear.
My camera has a brown sheen finish (seriously Canon - who wants a BROWN camera?) which is rather bizarre.
I didn't like the cheap feel to the camera. The body is solid enough BUT the battery/memory card door is flimsy (and not spring-loaded), the tripod bush is made of plastic and the three-position slider switch for mode selection also feels a bit cheap.
When new, these cameras were around the £200 mark (way over-priced) but on the second-hand market they are now around £60 which makes them far more reasonable.
Overall a good, (now cheap), ultracompact digital camera with excellent picture-taking and ease-of-use.

Well-built but awkward user interface. There are better cameras around.
This camera offers a lot and was one of the first to offer a widescreen touch-sensitive LCD display. Sadly, I found it too awkward to use - you are never sure whether to touch the screen or use the other input buttons. Also the menu systems are slightly confusing as are the different gestures to control the touch-screen (eg delete picture or viewing slideshow). The "Active Display" feature where various shaking directions activate various functions (eg checking focus) were simply a complete puzzle. My wife has an IXUS 90IS which I much preferred to use.
The triangular (video/still) mode switch on the top of the camera is too small and I found that the widescreen format was not well-suited to printing pictures so generally left the camera in a conventional mode whereby you get two black bars either side of the main picture (so what use is the big screen?) Also the 3" screen size is slightly misleading as it is measured diagonally (like all other cameras and TVs) but because of the aspect ratio (widescreen) is actually quite narrow from top to bottom. Another important feature for me is the ability to do extreme close-ups (like the 90IS at 2cm) but the closest this camera would go was about 10-12cm :(
It was a good camera and took great pictures but whenever I used it, it was always with some degree of disappointment where the camera did not match my expectations - and thankfully I sold it to buy an IXUS 990 IS which is a joy to use by comparison. Would I recommend the 200 IS to a friend - NO - but untimately it is for you to decide if this is the camera for you. In my case, it wasn't. Given that the camera was expensive, I don't think it was good value for money (and I wouldn't even buy a mint one at half the price on the second-hand market) so I have marked it down for 'Value for Money' Also marked down is 'Features' because although the camera is absolutely stuffed with features, it isn't easy to use and so many of the features remained unused. Overall only 2 stars from me - mainly due to the disappointment it generated everytime I used it. There are much better cameras around than this one. If Canon sort out the control interface to make it more 'user-friendly' then it would deserve a higher rating.
