cap comes off

I had one of these fitted to a new cistern. Within a year one of the caps came off and was lost. A replacement cap isn't avaiable so I had to buy the whole unit. Within a month one of the new caps came off. I have glued this back on and hope it stays. A similar unit is available direct from China at the cost of about £1.50 including p & p! Unfortunately it isn't compatible. So I recommend this part because it is the only one that fits, but it can't be good value for money when similar is much much cheaper, and it cannot be good quality if the cap keeps coming off.
