Perfect for the purpose
My wife and I have been keeping 5-year diaries going for at least 10 years, and they're sometimes hard to come by. These are perfect to keep the diaries going, and come in a two-pack (colour-coded!),in a convenient A5 size, tactile, and at a competitive price.
I particularly like the magnetic fastening, so much better than the lockable clasp on some editions.

Poor design makes it unusable
The gereral design, i.e. two gel filled panels with elastic sides is ok, but the problem appears to be that unlike some similar products, the panels are not sub-divided, thus providing no flexibility at all once the sleeve is frozen. This means it is literally impossible to get it over the bottle as the panels will not bend., therefore not fit for perpose.
If the panels were sub-divided this would allow for a degree of hinging.
Again, some other products have a degree of flexiibility, maybe it's a different sort of gel.

Surprisingly powerful
6 of 6 found this helpful Ordered Friday, arrived Saturday, was easy to assemble and is surprisingly robust. I decided to change the aerator blades to the scarifier cartridge before putting on the handles. Very simple. 2 screws with the Allen key provided.
On the second-lightest setting, the amount of thatch removed was startling. Having read various reviews, I decided to dispense with the collecting bag from the outset, and mowed up all the debris afterwards. Looks vastly better already.
I did 200 square yards in under an hour. The power of the motor does tend to pull forwards quickly, so it helps to try and hold it back a bit. It also emits a fairly high-pitched whine, which you would expect from a 1500w motor.
The only downside is the trailing electric cable which has to be positioned on each run. With my wife's help I developed a technique of driving in one direction then freewheeling the scarifier back to the start point and doing the next strip.
Really pleased with it and glad I bought it. Well worth the money.
