Trippy, funny, heartbreaking
1 of 1 found this helpful This is great new movie based on pretty fun possibilities. But mainly it's about family and three different generations that are engaged with our ability to deal with so much rapid change and our ability cope and make sense of our lives within the families we live in. The ending is wonderful.

One of Bergmann's best.
this is one of Bergman's best movies.
the first time I watched it at the theater (1978)when it came out, I couldn't finish it,
but I returned to it, cuz I needed to know how it ended....
not for the faint of heart.
it's also rather relevant in these times.
