Maquette AIRFIX 1/72ème BAC STRIKEMASTER/ JET PROVOST MK 5.

Good, old and fun to build.
This is the original, old Strikemaster mould from Airfix. Model by itself is, even tho it's from the 1973, quite detailed on the outside. Cockpit is very crude so the Pavla cockpit resin set is a must if you want to have a nice model kit with all the details. Panel lines are raised but with a bit of sanding and rescribing you can make this model in a beautifull show model. In the box there are parts for a Strikemaster and also for a Jet provost. So you can build either a jet trainer or a light attack aircraft. Even the instructions give you the opportunity to build either of them. Clear parts are provided in multiple pieces so you can build the kit with the canopy either opened or closed. Strikemaster is a light attack aircraft so there are underwing pylons provided in the kit, and also some bombs. Decals give you two options. Jet provost is in RAF markings, Strikemaster is in Royal Omany Air Force markings. Since the model kit is from 1973, you'll have a hard time finding the kit with perfect decals. So I recommend purchassing Xtradecal decal set for Strikemasters, which gives you options for many different paint schemes and a lot of interesting Strikemaster operators from all over the world. These old Airfix kits are a fun to build and can be made in a perfect display models either for home or model shows. And they are still quite cheap. Worth buying. I do recommend it. Falklands, here we go!
This set is a Must for all that would like to build model kits of Argentinian AF from the Falkland war period. Included in the set there are numerous options of aircraft and helicopters and for some of them you can even choose from at least two or even more different camouflage patterns. You can build A-4 Skyhawk, Canberra, Mirage III, IAI Dagger, T-34, Pucara, Sea King and Lynx. Decals are of excellent quality. Unfortunatelly decal set doesn't include complete stencils for all the aircraft, but this is understandable. I find this set very very good and I highly recommend it!! Peter Popovic, Slovenia

The best that money can buy
This decal sheet is a must for modellers that want to build a Vampire T.55 in more exotic paint schemes. Decals are of excellent quality, nice and thin. Working with them is nice and easy. Not much more to add. Have fun and happy modelling.
