Calico. Sew a quilt attract the cats, and score some points. A quality game.
I'm addicted to playing solo. Calico is better as a solo game, even though up to 4 players can play. It's a puzzly/thinky game and other players are involved with their own strategies/outcomes. Therefore, no room for a lot of socializing. I do like to play with my grandson, but so far we share the same 'quilt.' When I was learning the game I played only with the quilt, and left the cats out. Now I use everything. I suggest beginning that way. It plays well, and once you add the cats, you will already understand the strategy for sewing the quilt. The rulebook is excellent and offers a variety of scenarios. Suggested age is 10+ and the playtime is very fast. I typically play at least 8 games. The set-up is easy but somewhat tedious, once cats are in. Scoring is simple. Breakdown is quick. Calico is made with quality materials. As a board game owner, I'm impressed every time I play it. I suggest watching a couple of 'play-throughs' on YouTube. The videos made me want the game, but is was sold out for ta very long time. Again, I'm obsessed with Calico. I enjoy the challenge of picking my strategy for the highest score.

great
It's laugh out loud funny--a great read! I'm planning to read it again. It's been compared to A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, but HANDLING SIN is better, I think
