Good features for the money but fragile.
0 of 1 found this helpful Before I bought this, I had already played with a number of inexpensive helicopters and drones doing simple video and still photography. I wanted more. I didn't want to pay big money for perfection. I just wanted better flight control and better quality photo/video output for minimal outlay. Well, this does it but it's not easy to get working! I'm a graduate engineer and at first I was convinced the product was defective. The English part of the manual is useless! The Chinese part is Chinese. I ended up watching You-tube videos from others in the USA who'd played with the X183 and finally the light dawned on how to calibrate it for initial set up and the procedure to get the blades working for take-off. I've had hours of fun since (bought extra batteries). A few bits have broken but it hasn't self-destructed yet! Best flown in a clear space on a still (no wind) day. I still think I'll eventually buy a more expensive drone to get good pictures/video but the X183 is value for money on the learning skills path - This pre-supposes you have the will, patience and basic skill to get it working and keep it airworthy!
