Large 13 Litre Grey Plastic Garden Parasol Base Umbrella Stand Sunshade Holder

No good in the wind.
The base is made of very thin low quality plastic which gives it no rigidity and the neck of the parasol holder has bent permanently although it has been stood sheltered from strong winds. I don't think the item will last long and we see it purely as a temporary measure. Also, the parasol holder does not lock into place which means that if a slight breeze causes the parasol to rotate it is no longer secured and liable to be lifted out out in the event of a stronger gust of wind. We have not used the item in the wind, only in a very light breeze, but you can not see a gust of wind when it arrives.

Lightweight and ergonomic
Excellent for those with back problems, or trying to avoid them. The long handle makes shovelling, in my case 2 tons of topsoil, far easier and with far less strain on the back.

Suits my needs.
I have back problems so this eases the pain by making me sit up straighter. It also means that I have the screen virtually straight in front of me so no more stooped neck. It is perhaps not so sturdy as a more expensive model but as long as you don't beast it I feel it is perfectly adequate and serves it's purpose well.
