Wholesome entertainment - light comedy.
The DVD quality was very good but the original films were entertaining and visually interesting period pieces from the 1950s, especially 'The Lyons in Paris'. It was also for me nice to spot the English film star, Belinda Lee, in probably her first film appearance.

Gently amusing.
Just a good film - Norman Wisdom films can be uneven in comedy value but while this is not as entertaining as 'Trouble in Store' (the best) or 'Man of the Moment' (with the delightful Belinda Lee), this is well up there near the top, though perhaps too sentimentalised for some modern tastes.
