1-series replacement gearbox fully functional
I had the gearbox installed about a week ago on a car with 100K miles where the first gear was almost completely shot. I did not have an exact value for the miles on the replacement gearbox, but the vendor provided a 3 month warranty, which was reassuring. The box needed a little bit of a scrub but this was not a problem.
Being an exact match to the old box, this one fit perfectly. It is fully functional and I am back to using the car on a daily basis. Planning to change the gearbox oil as the mechanic suggested.
