Using the D70 professionally two+years on
3 of 3 found this helpful I have used the D70 for three years now in a multitude of conditions and locations all producing very good results.
The body is good at the price point and will not give cause for concern if treated with respect.
I have found the 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX NIKKOR an extremely versatile lens. It is well worth the money giving such fantastic versatility.
With this setup you will be able to shoot most things and come away with outstanding results! If you don’t it will be your fault not the kit.
Faults: None really at the price point, observations Body a little flimsy + it would benefit from a little better environmental sealing. Shutter I am told can suffer from ware but I have done 18000 shots with no problems.
Conclusion: Excellent value for money at the full retail let alone second hand. I am still using the camera in certain environments where I don’t wish to take more expensive gear.24/08/08.

Unusual to get this !

It folds for easy storage.
