Great paint for certain jobs, covering well and leaving a great shine.
I have used Hammerite before but never on a rusty surface. I therefore cannot comment on how effective such paint is on rust.
The paint is relatively thick to apply and dries reasonably quickly. I imagine it could be difficult to obtain a good finish when applied to a large, flat surface.
Every time I have used it has been to apply to reasonably small areas - railings, lamp posts, metal garden furniture etc. and it is superb.
In the past I have used the black paint but this time it was the red paint - a really great 'Post Office' red colour which was exactly what I was after. The finished effect is very smooth and has a fine gloss.

Chunky and well made. It really delivers.
I chose this particular inspection lamp because of its shape. I wanted to avoid all the long and slim ones. This one is chunky and compact.
I was surprised how good i was. It fully charged in about 20 minutes and when I switched it on the torch facility was impressive. Pressing the switch again switched off the torch and switched on the inspection lamp. Wow - how bright it was.
The magnet in the base is stronger than I expected.

Fantastic heroics - well told.
I remember seeing this story on TV in 2002.
It is a brilliant portrayal of a British explorer from the early 20th century.
A truly inspirational story that makes me proud to be British.
If you don't know about this man and his heroic exploits, I urge you to find out.
