Not for older Philips CD recorders
I purchased these Sony CD-R Music disks for my Philips CD recorder, but they do not work. They will not even initialize (OPC). I've had some Sony music (audio) disks in the past that worked great. But these must have been manufactured under different specifications. But I am able to use them as normal CD-R's in my computer.

Works great, Problem solved.
Works great for me in my Philips 760 CD Recorder. I was having trouble getting my recorder to recognize some other brands of CD-R music discs. No trouble so far with the Philips brand discs. i would recommend you try this brand if you're experiencing trouble with other brands.

Working well in old CD recorder
Manufactured in Mexico, these Sony CD-r's worked well in my old Philips CD recorder. The ones that I previously bought that were manufactured in Taiwan, do not work for me.
