Apple iSight Webcam Video Chat Autofocus Camera Microphone M8817LL/A

Makes for a great mic, camera is alright

I mostly purchased this webcam for the design, build quality, and built-in microphone. Most of its casing actually houses a series of small, noise-canalling mics that work great. Even by modern standards. The camera quality is good for its time, but not great in 2016. This wasn't a deal-breaker for me as I don't video conference all that often. This will work for FaceTime and is fully compatible with the FaceTime app on your computer. Remember this is a Firewire 400 device. Not USB. Adapters are easy to find and fairly cheap. I purchased a Firewire 800 to 400 cable to make use of my Mac Pros unused Firewire ports.
