Pioneer VSX-933 7.2 CH 135W 4K Dolby Atmos DTS-HD Network AV Receiver Amplifier

Cheap, but definitely NOT nasty!

Upgraded my 8 year old Onkyo for the connectivity this Pioneer VSX-933 offers. For this alone it is worth the money, and you will not get better at this price point. It is a sweet sounding amp, and although not especially powerful, there is enough there for the average home theatre. It is easy to set up and the Onkyo heritage is evident in the interface. I'm still trying to get my head around it, but you are able to rename 4 of the 6 HDMI inputs. As an example, I renamed the Cable/Sat input to Media which then shows up on the display. The remote is far less complicated than my old Onkyo's. My Tannoy speakers just love it! All in all, it's a great amp for the price, and meets my every need.
