Replacing a dot welded Toshiba keyboard
My Toshiba laptop keyboard needed replacing ... once the innards were out I found that this generation of laptop had the structural metal plate covering the keyboard dot plastic welded not screwed and after cutting the many welded heads off found the keyboard also dot welded ... so after cutting those off, it was a simple matter of taping around the key holes and the new keyboard was firmly in ... then taping the plate and apart from the time it took, a very satitfactory repair.

Excellent life changing tool ..
2 of 2 found this helpful Been using petrol blowers for 20 years at 07.45 in the morning they are just unpleasant, noisy, smelly, difficult to start and vibrate. Exactly the opposite of this very powerful electric leaf blower, why didn't I buy one years ago? Need 4 x 5 amp batteries for 45 mins blowing which is enough for me each day, school playgrounds.
