Hammerite direct to rust paint no primer or undercote reqired saving time and effort.
I used this paint to cover some rather attractive cast iron outdoor chairs that had gone rusty. I removed as much rust as possible and painted with 2 coats of direct to rust Hammerite no primer or undercoat required. Time will tell how long this will last before requiring further coates.
