Oh dear!

The Nissen hut was British, though some were occupied temporarily by German troops as the front fluctuated. The roof comprised 3 corrugated sheets equally spaced, the centre one overlapping the sides. There was no ridge. The floor was about 6 inches above the bottom of the cladding. The position of the steps is too high. The joins in the vertical planking were covered by wood strips, there would be no groove visible. Many designs of hut were produced. It is possible one like this was built, but if so it was not a Nissen hut.
