MAX Outdoors Camping Coffee Pot with Percolator Stainless Steel

Percolator convert

We bought this for our caravan - to avoid a breakable class cafetiere or electric coffeemaker. We tried it out and were so impressed that it is now our main coffee maker for home! It took a few goes to figure out how to use it properly (how much coffee to put in, what level to put the gas at, how long to percolate - had to Google it! ) What we like most is that the coffee brewed in it tastes just as good after sitting a few hours - as it's not in contact with the grounds. It also seems to have a smoother feel to the coffee, while still being nice and strong. We have (and still use) many coffee makers - filters, pods, espresso makers, cafetier - they all have their place and advantages, but this is currently my favourite. Our only regret is that we didn't buy a bigger one (this is a 9-cup). Come to think of it, I might buy a bigger one and use this one for the caravan as intended.
