Good quality plastic kit.
Nice injection moulded kit that fits together well.

Typical good quality and creative toy from Brio but could have been better in my opinion.
Typical good quality and creative toy from Brio. My 4yr old Grandson put it to use immediately after unwrapping it from the Christmas paper realizing too that it would need a suitable Loco to haul it around the track but he was happy with his surprise gift.
However Grandad was a little dis-appointed with the product for two reasons.
1) I would have expected the light to be bright and 'flashing' (sim. arc welding) rather than a 'steady' amber light shining down on the track.
2) I was particularly dis-appointed with the throw-away 'bubble' packaging (using difficult to re-cycle plastic film) when Brio could have quite easily simply boxed this item.

If only Hornby were more consistent with their descriptions for tyre replacements. I had three attempts with other model railway spares suppliers until I found the correct one here on this site.
