Nose Hair Trimmer Battery Run All-in-1 Elpine Nasal Ear Eyebrow Clippers
11 Jan, 2017
Panasonic ER-GN30 Nose Hair Trimmer v. Elpine Nose Hair Trimmer
Me man - Need Nose Ear Hair Trimmer fast! Bought a Panasonic ER-GN30 Nose Ear Hair Trimmer for absolutely silly money together with a Elpine Nose Ear Hair Trimmer as a cheapo back-up. Unpacked both, checked and cleaned them and then put them both through their paces. Both are powered by (1) AA battery. Is the Panasonic more "high tech" /"cutting edge" or perhaps the Mercedes Benz of Nose Ear Trimmers in comparison to the Elpine? Surely, the Panasonic must be worth the price premium of over 600%? You must be having a giraffe!!! The expression "Muppet" springs to mind! The Panasonic design looks superficially, slightly more refined in comparison to the Elpine, but the build quality is no better than the Elpine. In fact, in practise, the Elpine is much more powerful than the Panasonic. The Elpine is also just as quiet and just as easy to take apart and to clean as the Panasonic. The Panasonic comes in an huge, pretty cardboard box together with a 52 page user manual designed for the joint Panasonic/NASA mission to put the first Nose Hair Trimmer on the moon! The Elpine comes in a clean, sensibly sized box and (1) sheet of user instructions. But, I hear you protest, this is utterly ridiculous, the Panasonic must be much better built and more durable than the cheapo Elpine? I would agree if the Panasonic was made in Germany, but like the Elpine, it is made in China, the land of cheap shit and toddlers with A' Level maths skills! So in summary, just buy the Elpine. It works really well and you will not feel yourself either emotionally or spiritually deprived as a result of not having bought the Panasonic to match you £50,000 designer bathroom suite!

Standard Flush Tank Cistern Metal Lever- Chrome Plated Toilet WC Cistern Handle
20 Dec, 2017
Good Quality Loo Handle Mechanism
I have previously tried various expensive, fancy loo handle mechanisms from various plumbing merchants that have worked in a fashion, but not very reliably. This loo handle mechanism cost just over £3.00 and arrived in the post next day. This product consists of a good quality chrome style metal handle with integrated, square shaped pole. It is attached to a simple plain, plastic, universal arm which has a large connecting screw designed to securely attach it to the loo handle. It fits flush and works very well and does its job reliably and that's what you need it to do. Well worth the money and a lot better quality than the much more expensive, B&Q, Screwfix, Homebase or Wilko alternatives.
Bionaire 1.5kw Portable Oil Filled Radiator Electric Home Office Heater Radiator

Best value oil filled radiator available for under £80.00
I bought this Bionaire 1500 watt oil filled radiator as a stop gap. I would rate the build quality of this Bionaire radiator as “good” to “very good” and it comes with a manufacturer’s 5 year warranty. It cost me £35.99 plus £5.95 for next day courier delivery (a total of £41.94). I did extensive research on-line, but I could not find any comparable oil filled radiator under £80.00 that offered a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty. The standard manufacturer's warranty seemed to be only 1 year. I have also tested this Bionaire radiator against my new Delongi RADIA S TRRS 0715 which is also a 1500 watt oil filled radiator with exactly the same power settings as the Bionaire radiator and it also comes with a manufacturer’s 5 year warranty. The difference was that the Delonghi radiator cost me 100% more! So how do they compare? The Bionaire is a traditional 1500 watt oil filled radiator with 7 fins and a “clicky” manual thermostat. It does the basic job and gets hot quite quickly. The Delongi radiator also has 7 fins, but is much better built, more stylish, and technically more sophisticated .The Delonghi radiator has a silent, digital thermostat, so no more “clicky” noises! The Delongi also gets hot quickly, but more crucially, it generates far more actual heat in operation than the Bionaire radiator on the same power settings. So in terms of electricity consumption and running costs, the Delongi radiator is far better value for money than the Bionaire radiator. The Delonghi’s silent, digital thermostat is also going to be far more efficient and reliable than the Bionaire radiator’s old style, tried and tested, “clicky” manual thermostat. The Bionaire radiator’s controls consist of (2) rotary knobs. The top knob controls the thermostat settings. The bottom knob controls the power settings. Like the Delonghi radiator, the Bionaire radiator has (3) power settings. Setting (1) 700 watts. Setting (2) 800 watts; and; setting (3) 1500 watts. So in summary, the Bionaire radiator is by far the best value for money oil filled radiator for under £80.00 but if you can afford £80.00 plus then definitely buy the Delonghi radiator. With the Delonghi radiator you get more actual heat for the same electricity consumption in operation and a silent, digital thermostat. If you are going to be using the radiator in a bedroom, then the Delongi is the better choice, otherwise you may be annoyed by the sound of the Bionaire’s “clicky” manual thermostat !
