Don't expect too much from a silent movie
1 of 1 found this helpful The story is not great compared to modern movies. It is a silent B&W movie. However there are great pictures of whaling longboats being towed by a whale. It would be a turn-off for animal lovers but that was accepted back then. Women of this era thought nothing of wearing corsets made from whale parts and everyone needed the oil. People today think nothing of driving a car or flying to exotic places but our grand children will condemn us for polluting the planet.

Nice design but recorded video is poor quality.
Read the manual and set up Language on the first line in the menu, then NTSC or PAL.
Now the features will work well and it is nicely designed.
I would recommend if the recorded video quality was better.

I first saw this in the fifties.
I first saw this as a teenager and again recently with my wife and it was still a great movie.
Some great movie shots of fishing schooners racing.
