  The description was poor and lacking any detail so I went to view the fireplace before bidding . I therefore knew what I was getting. Unfortunately when I viewed it the listing started at £100 but the next day when the seller knew of my intention to bid, it had been removed and relisted at twice the price ! I was SHAFTED ! Obviously the seller seized his opportunity but it left me feeling quite aggrieved as it was for my son’s first flat and he the Reno budget has to stretch a long way!

  No way did I promise to sell the Victorian fire place only for £100.when you called to see it I told you that I paid £200 for it years ago and I did not want a lot for it.These fireplaces are going for £400 to £800 at least. I was only letting it go for the price I paid for it 15years ago.To say that you had been SHAFTED is an absolute insult and I am highly offended by it. YOU DID NOT HAVE TO BUY IT AS IT WAS IN AN AUCTION. I DID OFFER YOU YOUR MONEY BACK IN FULL BUT YOU REFUSED.
