NUSHINE SILVER PLATING SOLUTION - PLATE METALS WITH REAL SILVER - FREE POSTAGE

It really works.... and doesn't give a 'tinny' finish, looked more like 'aged' but 'loved' silver...
I'm sometimes 'suspicious' of things I don't understand, and wondered how just rubbing a solution onto things could re-plate them, but I have some old cufflinks that needed TLC so thought I'd give it a try, it's not too dear if it didn't work. Frankly I'm amazed, because it worked, and I have no idea how. I just shook the stuff up in the bottle (I did that for about 30 seconds) then rubbed a little onto my cufflinks, and they started to become 'silver' in a matter of seconds. I rubbed each cufflink both sides for about 30 seconds and got a good result. Finishing off with a dry cloth gives them a proper polish up. I did them again (not 'just for luck' but because I figured that a double layer would be more durable than a single layer). Frankly if I have to do them again occasionally I will, I probably used a teaspoonful, at most two, so I have loads left. The finish struck me as being like polished old silver, not too 'new shiny'. Very surprisingly effective way to refurbish something old without making it look really 'modern/tinny' and something you can do with no trouble at all at home.

The best quality (& I have a few fences) and not even the most expensive (!)
I use this mesh to protect my chickens from foxes. I've have fencing from other brands, some supposedly higher fencing, some cheaper, but I've come back because the quality difference is really noticeable. The height of the net is exactly what's quoted. Others list taller fencing, but then I found they included the spikes (and you could just put longer and longer spikes on, but the mesh fence gets no taller). Eventually the 'taller' fencing was exactly the same height, but less good quality. The double spikes are worth paying a few pounds more for, they make it much easier to put in firmly. I've found that over several years the spikes all remain completely firmly attached to the fence posts, a cheaper brand started leaving the spikes in the soil when we went to move the fence, the posts just pulled off, within a year, (and we move our fencing around quite a bit, whether to mow the grass around the bottom of the fence to minimise shorting, or to move the chickens to new areas of grass and rest the old, so it's a real pain when you lose the spikes. The slotted pole tops that hold the wire are still good on my oldest fencing, but newer (cheaper brand) fence pole tops have become brittle and snapped, requiring ad-hoc repairs. I've never repaired this stuff, not yet, it doesn't need it. The poles retain their 'spring back', we add strainers at the corners to keep the fence tight, cheaper tubing can flex and end up angling away at corners under the strain, but not straightening up again when you go to reposition the fence, these don't. I think it's all about the quality of whatever plastic they make the tubes with, this is good quality. Electric mesh fences all look much the same and do much the same job, but they're not all the same, there are slightly cheaper fences but this is worth paying the extra few pounds for, there are dearer fences, but I don't understand why, because this is the best quality I've found.
