Nice piece of equipment.
Difficult to fault. The rack is smooth enough for a camera to be pushed along it independently of the pinion control.
A small niggle, there's no easy way of fitting a Manfrotto RC plate, Ok for Arca though.

Excellent piece of kit!
This, and I suspect, the rest of the VDO range, are well made, functional and easy to use. In fact, just what you would expect from such a respected maker of vehicle instrumentation. Setting up and operation are simple in the extreme with an easily readable display and foolproof fitting. In a word (or two) buy it! I tried three other makes before I found this one, all failed!

At last!
At last a stable, smooth, adjustable 3d head. No creep, no droop and jerk-free adjustment even with long focus lenses.
Short of buying professional gear this is the best you will find!
