I dunno
When I ordered them I had mice in my ceiling. However the mice must have heard that the traps had arrived because since that time I haven't heard any mice, and therefore have not felt the need to set the traps for them. If they return in the cooler weather in the fall I expect to put the traps into action.

Cheaper batteries but seem to do the job well
When the batteries arrived, I thought that they would need to be charged before use, so I tried to charge the first few and discovered that they were charged before they arrived. The reason that I did not check off the "Is it of good quality?" box is that when I was trying to charge the first few, most of them finished off their charge and then the charger turned off automatically as it is supposed to. But two of them left the charge light blinking which it had never done before. But when I tested the batteries they worked fine. So whether the problem is a serious quality problem or not I just don't know. Meanwhile they are all working fine.

Fits in my pocket so that I can take a video at any time
I am accustomed to the Canon ELPH series (this is my third) so I didn't have to learn everything from scratch. This camera has a few new features and the zoom (which I found to be a problem with my first two) is much improved. At the first I had a problem in that the camera would shut down while I was still framing a shot, and I found it quite disconcerting to have to get the image up again and hurry my shot. But for whatever reason after a week or so it started working normally and continues to do so. So I ascribe the early problem to the bouncing it had during its journey form the seller to me. It's working fine now, and I'm glad that the fast shutdown was not intentionally a feature of the camera, or this review would have been quite different. :-)
