Does what it says
If you want bright white light it's perfect. If it had a dim setting or softer tones it would be all round perfect. Hence only 3 stars

Great but a couple of irritations
Sometimes sleep with buds in and these are slightly too big for comfort compared with my old Sennheiser CX300's but otherwise great for listening to books. Volume function does not work with my iPod Classic (still my preferred device for books and spoken content)
