The Microphone boom is loose and floppy. Not like a real Plantronics Unit.

I wrapped a piece of thread around the slot where the Microphone boom rotates to tighten it up a bit. the unit doesn't seem as load as a real Plantronics. It did connect to my cell phone easily. subsequently, I bought a real Plantronics and could see the difference. the price was twice as much so I suppose if you really want a cheap head set, this one will do.
