Replacement points.
These points were a replacement for those on a pump bought new some 40 years ago. A direct replacement, they were simple to fit and when adjusted as per manual worked fine. There are two small criticisms.; The hole in the eyelet was for a 1/4" screw, not a 2BA screw. The points were coated in a non-conductive film which had to be cleaned before they would work. Regardless, the points are now doing their job and I feel they were a worthwhile and economical purchase.

Good traditional battery.
Initial concerns were unjustified. The first charge (with an 'intelligent' charger) took about 3 days, prompting questions to the Yuasa technical department. The batteries did indeed charge up satisfactorily as the rep said they would, and have behaves fine since, holding their charge well. One criticism was that two of the six cells were over-filled on arrival, leading to loss of electrolyte through the vents when connected to the car's charging system. I would, indeed probably will buy the same product again should the need arise.

You get what you pay for.
This component is a satisfactory replacement for the original, the dimensions and basic appearance being the same, though there are some detail differences. Unfortunately both the terminal nuts and the central fixing nut were either very poorly made or just a different thread to the component they were fitted to, being far too loose and likely to strip. Simply replaced with quality fasteners, the problem was simply solved. Unfortunate lack of attention to detail, and thus quality, which could easily have been avoided. It was nevertheless good value for money at £17.00 including postage.
