Roberts Bluetune clock radio
The sound is modest and good, coming from front, but has no adjustment for pitch so can't step up high tones. It's neat and small footprint
Ideal for a bedside table, giving a decent easy read clockface above a front speaker, also nice to reduce brightness at night very fast by R tab. By far the best bedside radio made by Roberts, but needs settings separate knob so easier to use and more comprehensive than current version

Good film scanner to buy if you feel capable to update & overhaul if needed
0 of 2 found this helpful Bought this because another one I had got in E-Bay had turned out to have broken components and wasnt repairable as no spare parts available. I bought the item as parts but found on examination it was possible to repair and get working.
There are lots of these Nikon scanners about and maybe some of them just need overhaul. I have found good DIY instructions and maybe all needed is cleaning and lubrication of delicate sliding moving parts & mirrors, needing special lube & watch-makers tools. Dont buy unless you feel up to stripping down a delicate precision optical instrument. I cant find any electronic information needed to service those parts of the scanner, but anyone competent in electronics could do a lot quite easily.
Warning The LS-40 wont work in Windows 7 on, unless you use a 3rd party software to control it, which I got to recognise the machine due for overhaul. Get that software to check out the machine you bought and allow a price for it having then apparently some fault. I'd not use 3rd party software unless warranted by developer for this scanner as it might risk overworking some moving part. Maybe lots of scanners are sold on now just because of incompatibility. Inherently they are well-built high quality and probably good for repair cleanup and further use unless broken internally or shorted somehow.
