Of limited use
This device uses sound to calculate the distance of the device from the 'target'. It also has a small low power laser pointer for 'direction finding' in lower light conditions. In bright weather it's point becomes invisible. The device can store readings and, if done correctly, can do simple geometric calculations. It will also show the temperature when first switched on.
In use it is necessary to remember the following limitations. The device is accurate to the nearest 10mm according to the screen, but is probably less than accurate than that. I say that because it is difficult to get the device pointed steadily at the 'target'. Used in a darker space it is easy to see from the laser pointer movement how much shake an apparently steady hand provides. Ideally the device could be placed on something solid for making readings. However, the front is fatter than the rear on all sides so it is never possible to lay the device perfectly level. It probably would be best if a socket for a tripod were fabricated.
The device will not provide readings below 0.5m. In addition it will not provide a result if the 'target' is any of the following; something soft like curtains, rough finished like sawn timber, or at any shallower angle than 90 degrees. Measuring my loft proved impossible because the timbers are rough sawn timber set at 40 degrees, with cobwebs in places and with insulation in others.
I have yet to do any accuracy tests.
The buttons have large markings but the active points under the plastic coat are small and can easily be missed which makes it appear that the device is not responding. A better keyboard would be an improvement.
Will I keep the device? Yes, but it will be getting adaptations so that it can sit level in use plus a tripod fitting.

Good sound, good build and good price
This is an excellent product. The fit is, for me, just right and the sound quality seems to be very good in a range of settings. The noise cancellation works very well and one can be in a room with one's family and not hear what they are saying. One can hear that there is conversation, but not the detail. If one has music or video sound then nothing outside the feed can be heard. For this reason I would strongly advise against using these headphones when out jogging, cycling or walking in public places. You would just not hear the hazard until it hit you, be it a vehicle or a mugger.
Blue tooth connection works fine and to my ear sounds no different to wired connection. The buttons to set it up are a bit fiddly but one gets used to that. The provided wired lead is rather short, but perhaps the makers are expecting the headphones to be connected to a smart phone in one's breast pocket. I may seek out a longer lead as I use them with my PC. There is a useful hard case for transport and storage.

Little Heavyweight
This device is small but quite heavy which I suspect is what accounts for the good quality of the sound it produces. The same cannot be said of the sound it produces when the Mode button is pressed. The words are unclear as they are spoken by a women whose first language is not English. The device has a light show routine that operates while it is playing. This is not to my taste and I am hoping to find out how to switch it off. It lights up with a steady red light when charging which is sensible. It ought to have a light colour associated with each of the Modes rather than a voice prompt. The sound from the 3.5mm jack lead was good, but the same files from my phone played via Bluetooth seemed to be both louder and sharper. The text and symbols for the controls are very small which is hard for those of us with poor vision. There is space for larger characters. We have not yet had time to assess the battery life, but I am feeling very positive about the little speaker.
