running again at last
My Jag is X type 2.5S awd and this replaced one that went down. I tried cheaper sensors with similar code but they do not work.

not yoo close or too far away
A very good pair of extenders. Easy to install and configure. Only exasperating this is the usable range detector.
When setting up it scans for the wifi and the the strength. It then decides on the best distance from the router. problem it is not always convenient to place it for optimum so elsewhere is indicated 'too close' or 'too far away.' There is no info whether it is workable at other ranges as it could be the you have locked onto the basic wifi.
