Read it twice, and use a magnifying glass.
I was always interested to know more about the unique construction of this aircraft, thus snapped the book..
The book has to be read twice - the first time you get an overview, and learn late on why the aircraft shown was so rusty (it was a 1940 wreck salvaged from Loch Ness).
The second time you read in details, and use a magnifying glass to browse the hi-res but small-ish photos.
I am scandalised that only one Wellington was conserved for posterity. And even this one was a salvaged wreck.

looks dependable and versatile
Haven't used in a circuit yet. I wanted 3-gang and found I could stack 3 wafers on one switch, combining parts from 2 switches. The gap between contacts on a tripled switch look good for 100 volts or so. It would be nicer if the switch were 12-way with no stop position. Could also be nicer if there were ways to add more wafers on a switch.

Used in input and pre-amp amplifiers in oscilloscope Y amplifiers.
I am drawing on 1980s technology and these transistors were used after the step-attenuators had reduced the signal to millivolt levels.
They will serve for 40 MHz bandwidth, maybe higher.
For later stages of Y amplification I would select from more modern transistors.
