Glove Box Inner Plastic Liner for Left Hand Drive 143857101 > Karmann Ghia

Good replacement but requires a little work.

A good sturdy vacuum formed replacement for the original fibre liner, it's not a perfect fit though and does require a little work. In particular the corners are more radiused than the original, which makes fitting the bonnet release tricky as it's designed to fit into a square corner not a round one! I solved this by using a heat gun and a block of wood to carefully re-mould the corner, after which it was fairly easy to pop-rivet the release lever in place. The liner is still not a perfect fit in the hole, there's a bit of a gap on the right hand side, but it's a big improvement on the original which was crumbling away on our car. I guess VW weren't expecting their cars to be driven still 50 years later!

Good product

Pretty good charger at a reasonable price. It takes a while to fully charge from a mains socket, but once charged it charges my Samsung at least 3 times which easily gets me through a weekend. Handy torch too once you figure out how to switch it on and off!

Good value radio for work.

Better than I expected for the price! Easy to operate with good sound quality and volume for a radio of it's size, maybe not as good as some better known brands at 4 to 5 x the price but good enough for my purpose. It seems reasonably rugged, with the exception of the rigid aerial which is a bit vulnerable should it be dropped, luckily I find it doesn't need to be extended to receive DAB, I might see if I can find a rubber replacement that fits.
